Amanda Hatton
Amanda Hatton is a registered social worker who has held a number of posts in practice and management in both the statutory and voluntary sector. She moved to her substantive post as Director of Social Work practice in August 2008.
This post has lead responsibility for the Social Work Development Partnership which works across children and adult services to develop appropriate, good quality practice learning and continuing professional development opportunities for social workers at all stages of their careers.
She is also the lead officer working in the follow on from the roles and tasks of social work statement for adult services and a framework to support newly qualified social workers in this part of the sector.
Since April 2009 she has been seconded 3 days a week to the joint unit supporting the social work taskforce.
