Rebecca Leete
Rebecca Leete is a national programme manager for social work at the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC). She is the strategic lead for a number of workstrands, including the NQSW pilot programme for social workers with children and families.
Previously, Rebecca was CWDC’s regional manager in the South East and has worked at the Department for Children, Schools and Families, including on the 2020 Children and Young People’s Workforce Strategy.
CWDC leads change so that the thousands of people and volunteers working with children and young people across England are able to do the best job they possibly can. Through its social work programme, CWDC works with employers to pilot a range of initiatives to tackle the key challenges in securing a workforce that can deliver high quality social work for children and families.
The programme focuses on the recruitment and retention of social workers and on helping employers remodel their workforce.
